The Defender System
The MLA Defender System delivers fast, streamlined, limb protection for crowd and riot control, replacing slow, multi-piece limb guards with one integrated, rapid donning solution. The garment is made from 4‑way stretch jersey fabric, therefore allowing both the Defender Jacket and Trousers to move naturally with the body, maintaining breathability and comfort during extended operations.
The Defender Jacket provides targeted protection for the forearms, inner arms, elbows, upper arms and shoulders, using D3O® impact resistant pads secured in dedicated pockets for quick removal, adjustment, or replacement.
The Defender Trousers extend coverage to the thighs, knees, shins, and groin, combining D3O® and Re‑Zro® pads for high-performance impact absorption. All pads sit in custom pockets for easy configuration, and female specific trousers are also available to order.
Together, the Defender Suit System offers a modern alternative to traditional limb protection- lighter, faster, and more flexible, without compromising safety.
