Thurs 9th March, Farnborough – Michael Lupton Associates Ltd (MLA) and Scott Safety today signed an NDA at the 2017 Home Office Security and Policing Event, taking place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.

This significant step has been taken to allow an even closer working relationship to be forged on a number of collaborative projects, which will enable both companies to offer a more complete solution.

Carl Wolf, MLA General Manager, said; “We’re delighted that Scott Safety have placed trust in us to work with them even more closely on a number of projects, which we believe will be very beneficial to both parties.”

MLA, leaders in the Personal Protection Equipment and clothing field, have been in business for over 24years.  They unveiled their new ‘Merlin’ helmet on the first day of the tradeshow, which will soon be put into production at MLA’s helmet assembly plant in Seaton Ross, Yorkshire.

They also announced that they had, thanks to a Textile Regional Growth Fund Grant, recently been able to on shore leather and canvas production at their Yorkshire-based production facility. The new on-site, state of the art sewing room is housed within the converted blacksmiths which was part of the village pub that Michael Lupton bought in1998 and renovated to become MLA’s head office.
