MLA Ltd is a solution-based company specialising in the design, development and supply of innovative products for the police and prison market.

Founded over 10 years ago, we have vast experience in equipping officers who deal with control and restraint, firearms, public order and anti-riot situations worldwide. We are able to supply a full range of personal protective equipment including helmets, boots, gloves, ballistic equipment, batons and officer safety training equipment.

Our partnership with Arnold Engineering Plastics Ltd in February 2006, enabled us to supply a full range of limb protection and shields - designed and manufactured in the UK - and in March 2006 we launched the Frontline range. 

Working closely with customers in the design and development of products to ensure we meet the demands of those in the frontline is paramount to MLA.   Examples of such ventures include our 2PX baton, the officer safety dynamic suit and the MLA Fastrap limb restraint system .

We are committed to ensuring our products reach all neccessary safety standards. Our Guardian Mark III, which is the latest development of this series of public order helmets, was the first in the world to pass the HOSDB Public Order Test 21/04. It is currently in use operationally.  The 21/04 standard was designed specifically for riot helmets and is the most demanding standard yet published.
